We are now looking for a Calculator who wants to play a key role in our projects and contribute to ensuring efficient, sustainable, and quality-assured procurement processes!

Your Responsibilities

Victor Energy is a business in strong development. We are looking for a driven and meticulous calculator with relevant experience from the power industry or contracting business to strengthen our bid team in Sweden. This is a key role for those who want to work with large, complex contracting projects where your expertise will impact the company's continued success and profitability.

The role involves effectively producing high-quality bids for larger power contracts together with the bid team, where you will manage the calculation process from the request for proposal to the completed bid. You will actively participate in the development of our calculation methods, including project execution. The role is located in central Ludvika at our new fine office.

Examples of Main Responsibilities:

  • Carefully review requests for proposals, drawings, and technical descriptions and work closely with the bid team to ensure that the request for proposal is clear according to AMA codes and industry practices.
  • Contribute to identifying risks, ambiguities, and uncertainties in requests for proposals.
  • Prepare bid calculations and drive the compilation of costs from the bid team.
  • Conduct reviews of bid calculations before submission to ensure quality.
  • Establish and complete comprehensive bid documentation and contribute to streamlining and standardizing our internal calculation processes and tools.
  • Implement and develop the calculation process in bid management and project execution.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who can take overall responsibility for building and developing the calculation process. You work in a structured and meticulous manner, have the ability to handle multiple parallel tasks with high precision, and possess a strong sense of detail – something that is crucial to ensure accurate calculations. You are analytical and solution-oriented, easily tackling complex information and drawing well-founded conclusions. The role also requires you to be communicative and collaborative, and that you enjoy working together with others. At the same time, you are proactive and independent, and you act flexibly and professionally in a changing environment.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Relevant technical education (e.g., engineering degree or equivalent vocational training) or work experience we consider equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a calculator, with experience in larger contracting projects and practical experience with AMA codes.
  • Understanding of industry standards such as AB04 and ABT06.
  • Good system proficiency and experience with MS Office.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

We also prefer that you have good knowledge of power systems, materials, contracting methods, and contracting law. Experience working in international organizations is also an advantage.
